Technology-Enabled Innovation and Education in Southeast Asia – EdTech diagnostics and interventions support
The purpose of this assignment is to conduct a diagnostic of what works in education technology (EdTech) in Cambodia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Viet Nam taking into account the experience in light of COVID-19.
Scope of the assignment:
- testing EdTech interventions in limited settings, considering the needs from the government and the local experience with use of technology.
- evaluation of the interventions by conducting thorough assessments once the products are introduced.
- preparation of a road map to scale up the use of successful EdTech products given the country context.
The assignment includes delivery of all activities in close collaboration with national governments (ministries of education, training and skills development), school systems in the four countries, and the private sector.
Main tasks to be performed:
1.Provide regular assistance to the project management and expert team;
2.Fulfil everyday assignments i.e. contributing preparation of the written outputs, Progress reports, etc.
3.Other activities (details will be provided by TL in the interview)
Education: Bachelor Degree/Postgraduate or Master Degree in Education,Technical and Vocational Education and Training (MTVET) or from a technical background relevant to the assignment.
Experience:
-Fluency in spoken and written English
-Knowledge of the local language is a best
-Good communication skills, good relational skills with senior officials and administrations;
-Multitasking and capacity to work in a team
